Hockessin Baptist Church is a loving, caring community of believers dedicated to serving God. We believe in a world created and sustained by God, a salvation from sins provided by his Son, Jesus Christ, and an experience of growth and change facilitated by the Holy Spirit.

Our worship services are a mix of traditional and contemporary music along with prayers, readings, and personal faith stories. The weekly messages from Pastor Rick are Biblically based and relevant to living the Christian life in the “everyday.”

We strive to build all our ministries around our missions statement: “To bring people to Jesus and membership in His family, develop them toward Christ-like maturity, and equip them for their ministry in the church and their life mission in the world in order to magnify God’s name in an atmosphere of love.”
